What Motivates Sebastian Froehlich

Meet Sebastain Froehlich, my 7 year old son, who asked me if he could do an interview for my blog.  Sebastian (we call him Bash) is a super sweet kid, with a huge heart of gold and he is a fantastic big brother.  He is super motivated to be the best at everything he does and I am proud to share his interview with everyone.  Allow me to introduce you to Sebastian.

What Motivates Sebastian

What motivates you to be the best version of yourself?

  • Sebastian says, “This is the hardest quiz I ever had.  I work hard at school, I play football, I play soccer and I love playing with my friends. Playing with a lot of my favorite toys. That’s it.”

Do you do anything on a regular basis that you think makes you a better person?

  • Sebastian says, “I don’t know. I try to be a good big brother, I try to work on my homework and my hooked on phonics and I try to work hard at football and soccer. I try to make new friends and I like my teacher kind of. I love my mommy and daddy and they do a lot for me.”

What are some of your daily goals?

  • Sebastian says, “Umm…. This is even harder.  To learn to read, to learn more math because I love math, and to play with friends in community.”

What are some of your weekly goals?

  • Sebastian says, “To stay on Red and be a good boy, don’t get in trouble for 20 minutes, but sometimes I do that.  To listen to my teacher and my parents and Tyler and Delmar.  I also try to make new friends with my neighbors at my dads house.”

What are some of your Monthly goals?

  • Sebastian says, “To win all my football games, to be a good boy and not get in trouble, to learn new things and start doing better and better and better at math and reading.”

What are some of your yearly goals?

  • Sebastian says, “To keep playing football, to keep playing soccer and be a better soccer and football player and have my mom be my coach again, to move on to the 2nd grade, and to be able to read all by myself (which is why I am doing good on my hooked on phonics and triple i friends).”

What advice can you give to others about staying motivated and setting goals?

  • Sebastion says,”Keep trying everything that you can do and can’t do even if you can’t do it, just finish it.”

Final Advice:

“Trust your mommy and daddy, try hard in school, trust your coach and work really hard to be good. Be a good role model for your siblings, like I am for my little brother.”

Notes From Nicole:

Thank you Sebastian for being Mommy’s sweet little angel.  I am so luck to be your mommy and I appreciate everything you do. You are a great kid with a huge heart. I am so proud of this kid and I hope you enjoy what he has to say.

What Motivates Tyler Daily

Here is an interview with Tyler, the love of my life.  He has offered to share his motivations to help me with my blog.  This man works so hard everyday to be the best boyfriend, father and step father to me and our children. Tyler is a funny, sweet, kind hearted man who truly loves his family.  We are lucky to have him and here is what he has to say about what motivates him and what his goals are for himself and our little family.

What Motivates Tyler

What motivates you to be the best version of yourself?

  • Tyler says, “My family and making a better life for myself and my family.”

Do you do anything on a regular basis that you think makes you a better person?

  • Tyler says, “I work hard at work to hopefully get a promotion and make more money to support my family.  I also do things around the house that helps make our home better for me and my family.  I am also looking at going to school to get a real career so I can be the best version of myself.”

What are some of your daily goals?

  • Tyler says, “To again, work hard to try to advance at work.  Also I try to make it a goal to spend time with my family everyday.  When I am out of town for work, I make it a daily goal to talk to my family and see how they are doing everyday. Sometimes we even FaceTime so I can see my little boy and my stepson Sebastian.”

What are some of your weekly goals?

  • Tyler says, “Just to get through the week, and do my best to be a good person, and work hard.”

What are some of your Monthly goals?

  • Tyler says, “To try to work out.  I also try to do little things to make my family happy and comfortable, whether it be mowing the yard, cleaning the house or cooking dinner.  I also do my best to try and save money, though most of the time that goal just doesn’t always work out for me but I will continue to try. “

What are some of your yearly goals?

  • Tyler says, “My yearly goal is to do my best to provide for my family, to maybe get myself a truck so I can do side work that will help provide more for my family and to be happy with the woman I love and our wonderful children.”

What advice can you give to others about staying motivated and setting goals?

  • Tyler says,”Don’t beat yourself up if you can’t reach your goals.  Often times I try to reach my own goals and sometimes I don’t.  It’s not always about reaching the goals, it’s about trying hard to reach them and if you don’t, keep trying.”

Final Advice:

“Keep your head up and try your best to continue to push and never give up.  In my own personal situation, I haven’t had a lot of luck reaching my goals, but at the end of the day, I never give up on them.  Sometimes, I beat myself up and feel down on myself, but then I realize that I am still alive and breathing, my children are healthy and I have the best woman in the world.  That is what keeps me motivated to keep trying.  No one is perfect and I sure know that I am not either, but I will always work hard to be the best version of myself because it is the one thing I have to do for those who love me.  NEVER GIVE UP.”

Notes From Nicole:

Thank you Tyler for taking the time to share what motivates you and your personal Goals.  I know that you are a good man because I am lucky enough to have my life as the man I love.  I am so glad that you were willing to share your goals and motivations. I love you very much.

What Motivates Joey Madigan

Here is an interview with Joey Madigan about what Motivates him, the goals he has for himself and some advice he can offer to help you feel better about yourself, your motivation and your goals.  Joey Madigan is a masons’ helper that works at Glass Block Warehouse, LLC in Palm City Florida.  He is a gym enthusiast, a family man and a total goof ball (which is why he is so much fun to be around).  He works super hard to be the best version of himself and his family loves him and supports how amazing he is to all of us (Yes he is my family, he is my cousin).  Hope you enjoy hearing about what Joey has to say about what motivates him and what his goals are.

What Motivates Joey

What motivates you to be the best version of yourself?

  • Joey says, “To be better at life and try hard every day to push myself through the toughest of goals I personally set for myself.”

Do you do anything on a regular basis that you think makes you a better person?

  •  Joey says, “I work out everyday to make me feel better about myself.  I also take the time to help others who want to work out to better themselves as well .”

What are some of your daily goals?

  • Joey says, “To work out everyday, excel at my job and be with and help out my family.”

What are some of your weekly goals?

  • Joey says, “Just to get through the week, and do my best to be a good person, and work hard.”

What are some of your Monthly goals?

  • Joey says, “To get a little bit further in life than I was the month before.”

What are some of your yearly goals?

  • Joey says, “To save money to buy a house one day, to work towards a promotion at work, to better myself and never give up on working out.”

What advice can you give to others about staying motivated and setting goals?

  • Joey says, “Take it day by day and work on it and if you keep your head up and work towards whatever it is that you want, you will get it.

Final notes:

“If you want to be the best version of yourself, you have to be confident in yourself and your abilities.  Sometimes I struggle just like everyone else to meet my goals and stay motivated, but you have to remember that life is all about what you make of it.  The harder you push the more you can expect to gain.  I try to make it a goal to push myself as hard as I can and be stronger than I was yesterday, or even a year ago.  I have so many things I want out of life, but I taught myself to take it day by day.  Yes I have goals, but those goals can only be met if I take each second, minute, hour and day to push ahead to be the best version of me.  I am truly blessed to have such a great support system.  You have to find the right people to have in your life to be your support system.  It doesn’t have to be family, it can be the hand chosen friends that you picked to be your support system.  Life is all about the choices you make and the more you try the better you can expect to be.  Keep setting goals, and don’t be hard on yourself if you don’t always reach them.  Goals are not meant to stress you out, they are meant to help you work towards something.  You may not always reach that goal, but if you keep setting those goals, eventually you will start meeting them and then you will have the life you always wanted.  Best of luck to all of you who are motivating yourselves to reach goals and I hope that you don’t ever get discouraged along your journey.”

Note from Nicole:

I would just like to thank my cousin and one of my best friends, Joey, for taking the time to do a quick interview with me and share his goals with the world.  I am very happy to have your opinions.  Please share your blog with the world Joey.  You truly are a great person and a very dedicated man.  You will have everything you want in life because you are willing to do the work to get it.

Being a Photographer, A Mother and a Wife by Katie Gove

Here is an interview I did with a talented photographer named Katie Gove of Williams Gove Photography, about what motivates her to be the best version of herself and the best career woman, mommy and wife.

How do you balance your business, your two beautiful children and still be a good wife?

I don’t (She laughs), I take it day by day and what I see that needs to be addressed will be addressed at that time. Whether it be cleaning the house, taking care of a sick child, or being able to edit while the kids are at school or taking a nap.

What Motivates you to get out of bed every morning? and why?

My kids and my business. Cause my kids need food, clothes a roof over their head and I can’t give that to them without going to that 30 minute session and giving it my all.

Do you set daily, weekly, monthly and yearly goals for your business and your family?  If so what are they?

For my family I set daily goals, they are very easy like make the kids happy that day, clean the kitchen, or do the laundry.  From a business stand point I try to do monthly and yearly goals.  Monthly would be let’s try to shoot X amount of sessions in that month or X amount of photo sales within that month.  Yearly company goals are to take a workshop or two, and strive to be that much better of a photographer.

Do you find that goals help you to motivate yourself? and why?

100% yes.  It keeps me accountable and on track.  I feel that if I keep goals, its not about reaching them, its about the fact that I tried and will keep on trying to reach them.

Do you believe that you worked hard to get to where you are or do you feel that most of it fell in your lap?

Oh no, I worked very hard to get to where I am today and while I had help in the form of babysitters, financial help here and there and referrals, 95% of what I have today is because I did it on my own.

Is there anything you wish you could go back and change? As it relates to business or family?

Umm… Honestly I don’t think so.  If I had to do it all over again, I would probably do it the exact same way.

What advice can you share w oithther people who are learning to get motivated and set goals?

Don’t give up.  You might not always reach those goals, but at least you tried and give yourself a pat on the back for that.

Final statement from Katie:

Just strive to be your best and only you can tell you what that best would be for yourself.

I want to take a moment to thank Katie for sharing intimate details about how she motivates herself to be the best version of herself.  I have known Katie for many years and I have seen her work go from okay to unbelievable.   She is a glowing example of a woman who works so hard to be the best at what she does.  She even juggles being “Basically” a single mom, while her husband works and goes to school all week.  They made this sacrifice for their family but that doesn’t make it any easier.  She truly is a great motivator as she prospers through her career and gives strength to the people around her.  I wish you so much luck Katie.  You are only going to get better at everything you do because you have the motivation and the goals in place to make it happen.
